Yummy. For a buffet, super fresh and plentiful. Something for everyone a good variety at a good price.

Good: n/a
Bad: the smell as soon as you walk in yuck
The food was tasteless, chips were stale. Salsas were not fresh more like old salsa.
(Dk if a salsa can taste old)
The seat were so dirty and sticky same as the floors.
the employees were rude making us faces because we requested a different table.
So-so: no lunch rush.. BUT
Not coming back anyway.!! -

Awesome buffet for Mexican food. The service has always been awesome, and the food is so good, especially considering it being a buffet. If you're looking for a really awesome buffet or even just good quality Mexican food, this is a good pace to try. Also, all you can eat beef fajitas, and guacamole if you ask for it. How can that be beaten?

The waitress was really nice and did a very good job. I didn't know it was a buffet before I went so I thought it was pretty cool until I tasted it. It was just mediocre food that left my stomach feeling weird. The labels were incorrect for certain foods and the cheese tasted like water. I don't recommend this place, I paid $12 for barely eating anything because the food was so bland.

Great mexican food buffet in Tyler, Texas. Most of the food on the buffet is *not* Tex-Mex but closer to traditional northern mexican (Norteno) food. The buffet has a variety of shredded beef dishes with onions and cilantro, enchiladas stuffed with carne al pastor, a number of dishes topped with queso freso and guacasalsa, fresh menudo, pozole, sauteed platanos with crema, as well as a variety of more traditional buffet offerings (salad, dessert cookies etc).
Although I don't go to Tyler often, I make sure that whenever I am in town I visit El Mejicano. They have a good variety of mexican-style (not Tex-Mex) food at a good prices.
